New Fashion Trends for Spring!

Espadrille flats are all the rage for spring/summer and they’re comfortable to boot (like my attempt at a shoe pun?). They look awesome with jeans but also cute with leggings or cutoffs. Two-tone and lace are big with this look.

Denim jackets are back! A little less 80’s and a little more figure flattering; a denim jacket is a must have this season. They’re easy and go with everything. If you have a favorite dress or skirt that you don’t get much wear out of (for fear of being overdressed,) a denim jacket is the perfect solution. Alternatively, it can give some fashion cred to a cute pair of sweats and sneakers.

Everywhere I turn, I see bucket bags…for real. There are so many awesome options right now (studs, fringe) that I get why it’s on everyone’s list. Plus, it’s a great grab-and-go bag…easy to throw stuff in and be on your way. The one downside is the lack of organization because of the shape. But, if you aren’t the type of girl always fishing around for a pen or some Chapstick, I say go for it.

I have always always loved lace. And I’m so happy that it’s finally having its moment! Lace is so pretty and feminine and always makes you look “styled.”And now it’s sexier than ever. From t-shirts to evening wear, don’t be afraid to try it. Bonus points if it’s white! Be sure to pair it with white denim (white on white…so hot right now).

Free People always does this look best and this season is no exception. If you want to dip your toes into this trend, go for some accessories that make you feel just a bit like a flower child. And if you just want a hint of boho chic, go for a dress that can be paired with that new denim jacket of yours!
