The Big Cheesy 5th Annual Grilled Cheese Competition
Who can tell us that you and your littles don’t appreciate a great grilled cheese? That’s right, no one! So put on your stretchy pants and get ready for some grilled cheese craziness! On April 18th and 19th, Openhouse Gallery is hosting their 5th Annual Big Cheesy with the help of Time Out New York in support of the Food Bank of New York. Being that it’s grilled cheese month, they have rounded up some serious competition in the form of melted cheese on bread from the likes of Mrs Dorsey’s Kitchen, Depanneur in Williamsburg, Twist & Smash’d, and La Maison du Croque Monsieur.
Tickets are $30 for one hour to taste each of the six-featured contenders’ gooey concoctions, wash the goodness down with two Goose Island drafts, and vote for your favorite. Spring Sings with Preschool of Rock
The Preschool of Rock will be teaming up with Romparoo of Hoboken on Saturday, April 18th for a free demo class. They will be hosting 2 free demos at both 9:30AM and 10:30 AM with Mr. Mat. This is the ultimate ticket to Cool Music Classes For Kids in Hoboken! So are you ready for a hip change in your mommy and me music classes?
Preschool of Rock classes are held every Monday and Satuday for 45 minutes at Romparoo on Park Avenue. These are great music classes’ lead by real rock and roll musicians for babies and toddlers, straight through Pre-K. Date Night with Urban Jungle Play of Hoboken
Looking for a night out with your special someone? Why not drop the kids at Urban Jungle Play and head out on the town! On Friday, April 17th they will be hosting “Date Night”, an event for you to drop off your 2+ year old children for Open Play, Arts and Crafts, and a Pizza Party! Drop Offs are at 5pm or 6pm for 2 hours.

Let Street Fair Season begin! The Tenafly Street Fair & Craft Show is coming to downtown Tenafly on April 18th and 19th. The street fair will feature numerous crafters, along with a wine & cheese tasting by Wine Ventures & Chez Cheeze. There will be lots of fun activities for kids too. So bring the family over and let everyone enjoy the true joys of a local Street Fair!
The Street Fair will be going on from 11AM through 5PM in downtown Tenafly on Washington Street and West Railroad Avenue.
