Recently Moxy & Main had the opportunity to sit down with Molly and chat about motherhood and her newly released book, The Everyday Supermodel. As a mom, supermodel, actress, and now author, Molly has some amazing advice on how we can all be our best selves and channel our inner supermodel. How Moxy!

What’s the one piece of advice you have for new or expectant moms?

No mother is perfect. Read up on all the parenting blogs and literature that you can, talk to other moms, listen to doctors, check in with your own mom….but don’t expect you will remember to take every tip with you at all times! Absorb it all and do your best with what you’ve learned! But don’t feel guilty when your child has a public temper tantrum or eats a thing or two that is not 100 percent organic! Be confident that you are doing your best and eliminate the guilt!

What’s your #1 guilty pleasure?

Netflix marathons and anything chocolate!

What makes you a Moxy mom?

I’m a firm believer that you can still have it all after you have kids; it just takes more work and time management! Moxy moms are all about creating balance in their lives while looking and feeling great-you don’t have to permanently transition to a pony tail and sweatpants once you give birth! Don’t be scared to put on a pair of cute boots to go to the grocery store or a bit of makeup to run your errands. You will feel great! Don’t give up what makes you YOU-keep your hobbies, keep your friends, and make time for yourself.

What’s the funniest mom moment you’ve had so far?

It’s more gross and embarrassing than funny, but my child projectile vomited all over another passenger on a flight home from the holidays once!

What’s a must have in your bag at all times?

Lip gloss, sunglasses, my iPhone, and hand sanitizer wipes.
